This User Agreement applies to the Eivox iOS application and related pages at eivoxhouse.com. Please read it together with the Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By choosing a login method and entering Eivox, you agree to this User Agreement and the Privacy Policy. You must be able to form a valid agreement under the laws that apply to you. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian, use Eivox only with that permission.
2. What Eivox provides
Eivox helps you organize pet profiles, care records, reminders, caregiver handoffs, and community notes. Eivox is an organizational tool and does not replace qualified veterinary or other professional care. For urgent concerns, contact an appropriate local professional or emergency service.
3. Login and guest access
You may continue with Apple, Google, or a guest session. Keep access to your device and provider account secure. A guest session is tied to its supported account or installation state and may not be recoverable after the app is removed, device data is cleared, or the device is changed.
4. Records and reminders
You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy of records, schedules, portions, and caregiver instructions. Delivery of reminders can be affected by device settings, notification permissions, battery settings, connectivity, and operating-system behavior, so reminders should not be your only safeguard for time-sensitive care.
5. Your content and license
You keep ownership of text, images, audio, comments, profile information, and other content you submit. You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to submit it. For content you choose to share through Eivox, you grant Eivox a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, display, distribute, and use that content only to operate, improve, secure, and moderate Eivox. The license ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backup, legal, safety, and enforcement retention.
6. Community content rules
You must not submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, pornographic, graphically violent, invasive of privacy, defamatory, misleading, spam, malware, impersonation, intellectual-property infringement, or instructions likely to cause harm to a person or animal. Do not publish another person's private information or image without permission. Community content reflects the author's views, not professional advice or an endorsement by Eivox.
7. Content filtering
Eivox may use automated rules, safety checks, and human review to detect or prevent objectionable material from being posted. Content may be rejected, limited, labeled, or held for review. No filtering system is perfect, so users should also report content that appears to violate this agreement or the community rules.
8. Reporting posts, comments, and accounts
You can report community posts, comments, or accounts through the controls provided in the relevant list or detail view. Select the reason and provide any useful context. Eivox reviews reports within 24 hours. Content that violates this agreement or community standards may be removed, and the responsible account may be warned, restricted, suspended, or removed. Urgent moderation concerns or appeals can also be sent to eivoxinfo@eivoxhouse.com with enough information to identify the content or account.
9. Blocking abusive users
You can block an account from available community controls. Blocking immediately removes that account's posts and comments from your community views and prevents its content from being shown to you while the block remains active. Blocking also creates a safety record for Eivox so repeated or serious abuse can be investigated. You can review and cancel blocks from the app's settings. A block does not prevent Eivox from retaining information reasonably needed for safety, enforcement, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
10. Moderation and enforcement
Eivox may investigate reports and use automated or human review to restrict, hide, or remove content. We may preserve relevant records, limit community features, suspend or remove accounts, and cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate account removal. Moderation decisions may consider the content, context, severity, prior conduct, and risks to users, animals, or the service.
11. Consumable in-app purchases
Eivox may offer consumable value packs through Apple In-App Purchase. Each purchase is a one-time transaction that delivers the amount shown on the Apple purchase screen to the eligible Eivox account after successful validation. The product name, included amount, price, and currency displayed by Apple control the transaction. Payment is charged by Apple to the Apple Account used to confirm the purchase. Eivox does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
12. Purchase delivery and use
Consumable value is added once for each successfully validated transaction and can be spent on eligible in-app actions. Used value cannot be delivered again. Keep your Eivox account and purchase confirmation available if you contact support about delayed delivery. Purchases made during a guest session may be difficult to associate with a different account or installation, so complete any intended use before deleting guest data or changing devices.
13. Billing and refunds
Apple controls billing, taxes, receipts, and refund decisions for Apple In-App Purchases. Refund requests may be submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com and remain subject to Apple rules and applicable consumer law. If Apple refunds or revokes a transaction after value has been delivered, Eivox may adjust the corresponding balance or account record where permitted by law. Deleting an Eivox account or removing the app does not reverse a completed purchase or automatically create a refund.
14. Device permissions and local files
Camera, photo-library, microphone, and notification access are requested only when a related feature needs them. Images and voice notes you choose may be saved in the app storage on your device. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings and remove supported local information from Eivox preferences.
15. Third-party and Apple services
Apple sign-in, Google sign-in, the App Store, StoreKit, and related platform services are provided by third parties and are subject to their terms and privacy practices. Apple is not responsible for Eivox content, support, warranties, product claims, or user-generated content except as required by law or Apple's own terms. You must also follow applicable third-party terms when using Eivox.
16. Service and paid-feature availability
We work to keep Eivox reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Features may be adjusted, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or product improvement. If a paid feature is discontinued, access and any remedy will be handled consistently with the displayed purchase terms, Apple rules, and applicable consumer law.
17. Account choices and enforcement
You may sign out, clear supported local care data, or use available account-deletion controls. Provider-account and App Store purchase management remain available through Apple or Google. We may restrict or close an account for serious or repeated violations, fraud, security risk, harmful user content, or legal requirements. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.
18. Disclaimers and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by law, Eivox is provided as available without guarantees beyond those expressly stated. Eivox is not responsible for user content, missed reminders, indirect losses, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in this agreement excludes warranties, refunds, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded in your country or region.
19. Agreement updates
We may update this agreement when features, purchase models, moderation practices, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate notice, and the updated version will show a new effective date.
20. Contact
Questions about this agreement, purchase support, reports, or moderation appeals can be sent to eivoxinfo@eivoxhouse.com.
